The year for the buses is based on the VIN, not the year they were built or delivered, followed by model, number, any notes, and quantity:

IFB due Date and Time: 2/25/2021 at 10:00 A.M. ET
Transdev Services, Inc. doing business as Nassau Inter-County Express (NICE Bus) is soliciting firm-fixed price bids from responsible firms for On-Site Bus Inspection Services at 451 Discovery Drive, Livermore, CA 94551. Contract term shall be six (6) years from date of award. The bus order shall be for 80 forty-foot CNG buses manufactured in 2021 with two (2) Options of 40 and 45 buses, respectively, that may be exercised in 2022 and/or in later years. A contract shall be awarded to the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder and prices shall remain firm throughout the contract term.
Sealed bids must be received before the IFB due date and time by NICE Bus at 700 Commercial Avenue, Garden City, New York 11530.
Interested bidders should request, in writing, a copy of the IFB Documents from Mr. John French, Purchasing, at email: john.french@transdev.com. He may be contacted by phone at 516-296-4129.
Funding support for this project is provided through a financial grant from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA). In accordance with 49 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 26, participation Disadvantage Business Enterprises (DBE) in all aspects of this federally funded contract will be encouraged and supported.
Offerors are encouraged to utilize the services of minority and DBE-owned banks, and other financial institutions, when such institutions are available. Information about such institutions owned and controlled by economically and socially disadvantaged individuals can be requested from the Nassau County Office of Minority Affairs, at One West Street, Third Floor, Mineola, NY 11501 offices. |
