Historical trivia:

I've read that, in I905, the steamboat "HERMAN S. CASWELL" became the first to offer sightseeing cruises around Manhattan Island; this operation became the ancestor of today's "CIRCLE LINE"..........

In its last years of operation, the legendary, now-defunct" HUDSON RIVER DAY LINE" was operated by the "CIRCLE :INE".........
