The 9600s are very very tired. They have operated 15-16 years, many
running 6 & 7 days. They have been very faithful.
OFS so far,

9602, 9609, 9615, 9620, 9621, 9639 9631 was sold for scrap, last public auction.


958 & 960 still in Stamford. 960 & 9500s were used for Metro North
Train service very recently.

I was informed by a NH policeman, that 2 9600s will go to the Police
Department. Like former 8309 & 9110
