In thanking all of you who were kind enough to extend your sympathies upon my loss, I thought I would share with you some of our last happy moments together aboard our cruise to Alaska some months ago.

I know that Mrs. L would appreciate this because she was very enthusiastic about my work here at BusTalk.

For posterity.

Mr. 'L'

ECA,

I gotta tell you this; we're docking at Skagway and I'm on our veranda which was on the port side and I see all these Fishbowls in the parking lot below and I yell out to Alma; "Look at all these Fishbowl - I don't believe it" to which she answered; "Whats a Fishbowl?".

I said; "forget it - it's too difficult to explain!" (but I did anyway).

Good memories!

				Mr "L" -

What? You haven't provided, "...the rest of the story..." of first and visceral reaction to sight of a replica Yellow "Z" (or pre- "Z", as the case may be)? <G>

WCA[/quote] The same thing had happened to my wife and me at Ketchikan when we had cruised to Alaska a few years ago. My wife thought I had gone off my rocker, Once she had the chance to ride one of those old Fishbowls, now she knows what they are. Nice pics, Mr. L. |
