And in both games, the losing team scored exactly half the amount of runs as the winning team.
But, again . . . the volatile pendulum . . . |

"Noo Yawk" baseball "nooze" for Thursday (early edition)...........
In a VERY lackluster, ho-hum game, the "Boulevsrdiers" weren't even on the scireboard....(!!)
"NYO"
(NO happy "AYFs" going home on the subways, this sultry afternoon!)

Meanwhile, the Mets are off tonight. Tomorrow, they play against "Pound Laundry" (that term came from a routine, "Digging The Weans," read by Theodore Bikel in his 1959 album Bravo Bikel as an archaeologist thousands of years into the future interpreting the name "Washington") at Citi Field.
That "Boulevardiers" game was a "squeaker" in every sense of the word; the winning team ("See-Addle") only needed one run to win. |

:Noo Yawk" baseball "nooze" for Friday.............
Amazins'
"Boulevardiers":
Certainly seems like being back on "home toif" in "Eye-Are-Tee" territory was a "charm" for the Amzins'..........the #7 trains are indeed crowded with SMILING Mets fans, this evening......
"NYO"
(The Mets have now won 7 out of their last 10 games)

Sounds like, in the "Boulevardiers' " case, the "coyce" of the Toronto seagull who was struck by one of Dave Winfield's hits in 1983 looms large north of the border.
On the other hand, happy-as-a-clam Blue Jays fans filed out on "Tee-Tee-See" buses and subways. |
