Unfortunately, it will be like this until either fare rises and the trip becomes crowded all the time, which will be a problem since artics are on those run on sunday. Btw why does Hartford have pulse points on Sunday? |

				The reasoning for the pulse on Sunday is because service is hourly on all the lines except the 66 it minimizes the waiting time for connections. 
 
 
However it's been alot busier on Sundays than it used to be, plus the buses are going farther out and the timing of the runs has never caught up to that fact. That is the major problems with alot of the runs in Hartford, the running times are way too tight and there is not enough recovery time at the ends on the lines. Artics are not gonna solve that problem. |

They thought it would. Like i said before, the 88 to Manchester Center is about 35 minutes long. It might have been 30 minutes 10-20 years ago when it was on a 2 hour headways, but now it puts every other bus behind. If there was something like an Manchester Center Flyer, it would work out well. |

They would have to add a bus to do this but it would expand the service and not have the drivers pushing like madmen to get out to Manchester and back in a hour. It's a shame the passengers can figure out that it can't be done but the scheduling department at CTTransit can't. |

I susepct it's not that they haven't figured this out, but rather that they can't afford the $1,200 or so this extra bus would cost to run each Sunday. |

I think if Ct Transit cuts/decrease low ridership service on some midday routes, that savings can add service for sundays. |

Its on two hour headways on weekends. And instead of the city investing money into "the triangle," they should invest along with the state to expand sunday service. |
