....just thought you might like this 1972 view, showing the former TARS car house ("KINGSBRIDGE DIVISION") being used as a bus garage (Broadway & 216th St.).....

Here is an interesting (and nostalgic) photo taken at West Farms in late 1962.

Note the then-modern Fishbowl in the background; too, note the vintage trucks that were "antique" even for 1962, and the train of ancient IRT Lo-V's screeching and grinding along overhead on the elevated.......

No doubt that Fishbowl was a Q-44 . . .

				W.B.:

As "Da Bronx" was prime SURFACE/MaBSTOA territory, I'm curious as to what (in the early 60's) constituted the "Tee-Yay's" most northern terminuses?

At what point did buses become all SURFACE/MaBSTOA?

The "Tee-Yay's" Q-44 went farthest north to West Farms Square / Bronx Zoo. That was the extent of this.

What had been FACL (FACO and NYCO Divisions) and ST went all-MaBSTOA in stages between March 23 and July 1, 1962. (The NYCO Division and ST lines were all at once, the stages involved FACO Division lines.)
