In 1929, when the old North Jersey Rapid Transit (Paterson-Suffern) ROW was being lifted, the old interurban rails would soon be shipped overseas, to be used on the Trans-Siberian Railway (interesting photos on this page, historical and current).......

Here's a nice interior view of one of the older cars; unlike here in the States, there are no interior advertising cards.

Also, note the absence of standee straps; with the overhead bars and incandescent lighting, I think of the old "joint service" PRR/PATH "K"-Class cars......
